National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore
They have a library which contains the Rg Veda Samhit and the translations into English, not by Griffith but by Veda Pratisthan Delhi. They also have a lot of other related books. I was allowed to enter when I showed my ID card to the librarian.
I have studied Max Muller and Pandey’s translations already which are based in the materialistic, naturalistic translations of Sayanacharya. But Aurobindo wrote about a spiritual and psychological translation that I have been trying to find.
I think I have found the right books in this library with a lot of explanation. Veda Pratishthan Delhi! Rk Veda Samhitas. These books also explain the Vedic Sanskrit. There is also a Prof at NIAS who is said to know all this but he has no time or inclination to teach it. However he does teach the Mahabharata at 2 pm on Tuesdays, if you are interested.
