RV_07.081.02.1{01} udusriyāḥ sṛjate sūryaḥ sancā udyan nakṣatramarcivat
RV_07.081.02.2{01} taveduṣo vyuṣi sūryasya ca saṃ bhaktena gamemahi

pada pATA :

ut usriyāḥ sṛjate sūryaḥ sancā udyat  nakṣatram arcivat

tava it uṣah vi uṣi sūryasya ca saṃ bhaktena gamemahi

===================================================

sAyaNa bhASya :

sūryaḥ : sarvasya prEraka Aditya

usriyāḥ : ras’mIn

sancā : saha yugapadEva

ut sṛjate : udgamayati

nakSatram arcivat – prAdurbhavannakhsatram nabhasi drus’yamAnam grahanakshatrahikam dIptim akarOti

bhaktena : annena

My Translation of the first line :

udyat sUrya : the rising sun, us’riyAh sancā  : by his rays, nakhshtarm : the

27th part (lune) of the sky (zodiac), arcivat : brightens

The rising sun brightens the naksatra (which is 1/27th lune of the sky).

My Translation of the second line :

uSah : uSA! (dawn) ,  tava : of your, ca : and, sUryasya : of  Sun, vyuSi : rising,  bhaktena – by devotee, sam gamemahi : will be gone (passive voice).

Oh Dawn! As you and the sun rise, your devotee (me), will go (rise) too!

Tatparya :

  • The rising sun brightens the naksatra (which is 1/27th lune of the sky).
  • Oh Dawn! As you and the sun rise, your devotee (me), will go (rise) too!
