Sri Suktham Chanting (Yajur Veda Swaras)
Like Purusha Suktham, Sri Suktham is also found in both the Rg and Yaju Vedas. While Rig Veda is used mainly for parAyaNa and japa, Yajur Veda is used for yajnas and pujas. It is used during Abhisheka as you can see in the first video below. In addition to a difference in the swaras and chanting styles, a few words are also different. With the Devi Navarathris approaching soon.. I thought it would be helpful to collect some Sri Suktham Videos.
Though it is often captioned as Rig Veda for some reason… the chanting style is yajur veda. It is not easy to find correct rig vedic chanting online.. I have been searching..
Some different way of chanting : maybe north indian?

Your work is really amazing… Thanks for your contribution.
When I was studying in 8th Standard, in one of my Telugu lesson I have read “tht taking water, vegetables, meat … and five types mentioned there are supported as food for humans in rig veda” I could not recollect all of them.. If u have came across such kind anywhere, Pls do post.
