Adi Ganesha or the Naramukha Ganesha (Human Face) at Ganapatheeshwaram in Tamilnadu. Source : Eka Akshara on Facebook.

Ten Upanishads of four Vedas, in English, priced around Rs 800, gives the translation and commentaries of 20th century writers on the upanishads such as Sri Aurobindo and Sri S. Radhakrishnan. The 3 Acharyas Sankara, Ramanuja and Madhwa are mentioned briefly in passing.

The Upanishads with Sankarabhashya, translated by Swami Gambhirananda, Ramakrishna Mutt, is very affordably priced and gives a true translation of Sankaracarya’s commentary in English, and upanishad mantras in sanskrit with english word by word translation.

The Isadi nou upaniSad, in Hindi, Gita Gorakhpur press, priced at Rs 100, is an amazing book, with both the upanishad mantras and sankarabhasya in Sanskrit plus their translations in Hindi. Excellent print hardbound. It was recommended to me by my veda guru.

It is my observation that the best books are available in Indian languages at decent prices.
